A little grumpie!

 

Hiya everyone, 

Today's card is my A little bit crafty DT card which I have made with a Smeared ink digi.  They are the L'il grumpies range and this little fella is called "Stumpie" - isn't he just weird and a bit cute?

The theme of the challenge is "Die-ing for it!" so I have used my nesties as well as my Tim holtz weathered clock die and my memory box old fashioned light die.  The papers I have used are from the Prima engraver paperstack which I think is fab.  The image is very quickly coloured with sandstone and pastel beige promarkers.  The this is not art is a cat's life press stamp that I just bought on ebay that I like and just had to use! Lol

I have been soooo busy the last few weeks so I quickly put this together last night but I'm really pleased how he turned out!

Blog candy!!!!

 

Hiya everyone, 

Since I started up the A little bit crafty challenge I haven't been having candy but I managed to get my mitts on a rare Quickutz fancy photo corner die so I thought I would offer it up as a bit of sweet candy!  I already have one so I don't need another!  This is new but not in the original packaging - I use my ALL the time!

I will keep this candy open till 27th August which is my birthday and then I will draw 1 lucky winner!

House Mouse & Friends - Charming!

Hiya everyone, 

Today sees a brand new challenge over at the House Mouse & Friends Monday challenge.  The theme today is "Use a charm" so I decided to use this Joanna Sheen sample I made a few weeks ago which I made using the new House Mouse triple CD rom.   It is one of the many printed toppers which I printed twice - once cut in a circle and the other I just cut round the bird.

I decided against using the matching paper for this image as I wanted to do a white-on-white card and it ended up looking like this!  It's a bit difficult to photograph but I'm pleased with how it looked in the end.

Bugoboo Birthday Monster

 

Hiya everyone, 

 

Here I have a card I made with a Bugaboo image called "Birthday monster - cake" which is my DT card for my A little bit crafty challenge.  As it's the 15th it's time for our midway reminder post.  The theme for this month is "Something sweet" and I couldn't resist this little cutie.  I have been really busy of late including being published in July Making Cards magazine which hit the shops yesterday!

Anyhoo, I knocked up this CAS card up last night with my new Amy Tangerine "Sketchbook" paperstack that was a £2.99 bargain in my local TK Maxx.  The sentiment is a Penny Black stamp which was a gift off my crafty friend Elaine Rayworth.
