Kraft it!

 Hiya everyone,

I have a Just Inklined GDT sample for you now which has been made with the fab new range of clear stamps that recently came out.  This stamp is called "Garden lamp" which you can get here.  I coloured the image in with my promarkers and flexmarkers.

The papers are from my Prima "Birdsong" paperstack which I love although it has already been discontinued.  I have used a few memory box dies on here and a few other bits and bobs from my stash.  The sentiment is a wooden one that was another car boot bargain for about 20p.

As our new challenge for the A little bit crafty challenge is "KRAFT it!" I decided to use this as I had to share a La Pashe/Just Inklined sample and this one kills two birds with one stone.

Please check out the new challenge which will be posting just after this to get all the fab new DT inspiration.  We are also lucky to be joined by the fabulous Hels Sheridan as our May Guest Designer.
Thanks for looking!

The Locomotion

Hiya everyone,
Another La Pashe sample to share with you today that I made a while ago from the Double Decoupage range - this one's called "The Locomotion".  2 decoupage images on 2 sheets for 69p per sheet.  The papers I used were from a travel themed paperstack that was a magazine freebie.
I find there are some fab male images which is good as men are so hard to make for aren't they?

If you are wanting the "A little bit crafty" challenge please click the "Current challenge here" button on the top right hand side of the sidebar and it will take you straight to it!
I've got a busy week lined up as there's a new challenge starting on Sunday over at the  Joanna Sheen challenge and a new House Mouse and Friends challenge on Monday!  I've also got several magazine bits and bobs on the go too!

See you all shortly!

Holiday romance.........

Hiya everyone,
I have a La Pashe DT sample to share with you today with is made from one of the double decoupage sheets which are 69p each  They each have 2 images per sheet making them excellent value for money.  This one is called holiday romance and it's ever so pretty - you can buy it for yourself here.

I used very plainish papers and just added some raffia ribbon, WOC flowers, pearls and a cute mirror charm.  This is a 6x6 card so the images are nice and big so work well with a clean and simple look so that the focus is on the fab image.

I am getting so excited for the launch of the new challenge which starts next monday - I can't wait!

Thanks for looking!

Introducing - The Wrinklies

Hiya everyone,

Today I have to share with you a sample I made for La Pashe using their new Wrinklies range.  This image is called "Senior cyclists" which is one of the new decoupage plus sets which you can get here.

The backing paper and sentiment are included on the same sheet for 59p which are excellent value for money.  For a change I made a 8x8 card and I used core'dinations card as I fancied using the Tim Holtz gears small embossing folder that I've had for ages and never used.

These are really fun images and are great for people of a "certain age" Lol including some fab male images which are always a nightmare to make for!

La Pashe Christmas petite decoupage sheets

Hiya everyone,

Don't die of shock but I have another DT sample to share with you.  It has been made using another of the Christmas petite A5 decoupage sheets that have just been launched from La Pashe.  This particular set is from the "festive feathers" set which you can get here.  I decided for a change to do a white-on-white card so I added lots of texture using my swiss dots and script embossing folders.

The cardstock I used for the blank and the matting and layering is a white pearl card which has a subtle gold sheen to it.  The image is called "wreath robin" which took me ages to cut out as I decided to mount the layered image onto a spotty disc rather than keep it as it is so I had to cut out the centre of the wreath which was dead fiddly.  I added a little glamour dust to parts of the wreath but I don't think you can tell from the piccie.

I was really pleased with the way it turned out and it looked much better in the flesh as white-on-white generally doesn't photograph well.

Only 2 weeks now left at work and counting!

La Pashe Christmas Petite decoupage sheets

Hiya everyone,

I have a DT sample to share with you that I made a few weeks ago for the launch of the new Christmas petite decoupage sheets.  The sheets are only A5 in size so the actual images are a much better size if you prefer 6x6 cards as I do find that some decoupage is a tad too big.

This sheet is called "on the fence" and is from the "festive feathers" set which are £1.99 for a set of 7 sheets.  There are 3 different sets to choose from and they are all available here.

Festive feathers

Dickensian Christmas
Santa
I made a matching card and gift box set which I filled with cheapie chocolate mints that I bought in poundland.  The papers used are from the papermania silent night set which I've had for ages which are nice and traditional.  I used a few pearl, some flowers and a gorgeous brass corner that I've been hoarding away!  I also added little glamour dust to the snowy bits of the image but didn't really use too much extra stuff so the emphasis is on the image.

I know that not everybody's a fan of decoupage but I actually like it and often layer up my own stamped images.  These sheets only have a few bits and bobs to cut out so they are ideal if you don't want to do lots of cutting out!

On a different note, I thought I would share my pregnancy progress and have even been brave enough to share a piccy with you.  I am about the same size as I was full term with Tayla so I am feeling very big and uncomfortable - as you can see it's all bump!  You can barely tell I'm expecting from behind.  I have (hopefully) just short of 2 months left to go untill we meet Tayla's new baby brother or sister.  I'm still counting down the days at work which is now just over 2 weeks!

Tinsel Tots - La Pashe

Hiya everyone,

I'm feeling a little poorly today and ended up going to the walk-in centre after not being able to see my normal GP and it turns out I have a water infection :(   Nowt serious but common during pregnancy.  Luckily I didn't have to wait too long as I was treated as a priority.  I've started taking some antibiotics so I'm hoping to feel a bit more perky soon.

Anyhoo, I just thought I'd share another of the La Pashe DT samples I made a few weeks back for the launch of this uber cute new Tinsel Tots decoupage sheets.  These sheets are available singly or as a full set of 10 sheets here.

The papers I used are from the trimcraft papersatck called Festive Treats.  I added a little glamour dust to the wings for added sparkle - after all it is a Christmas card!.  I think the sentiment circle is a Pink Gem Designs one.

Tinsel Tots - La Pashe

Hiya everyone,

We are still having a fab time in Windermere even though the weather has been very up and down.  We are trying to plan our time depending on whether it looks like rain or not!  On sunday we went on a short cruise round the lake and Tayla proceeded to fall asleep after about 10 minutes!

She did however enjoy the road train that we took to get from the car park to the lakeside.  Although she has been very good for the majority of the holiday she has in the last few weeks been very clingy and only wanting her mummy (much to the disappointment of her daddy!)  This wouldn't be too much of a problem if she didn't want picking up all the time.  At over 5 months pregnant I am finding her very heavy and difficult to manage for long periods.

Tayla also enjoyed feeding the many ducks, geese and swans that we found on Lake Windermere - here she is with her Daddy!
We went to the fun factory today which is an indoor play area which she really enjoyed.  She wore herself out and fell asleep in the car on the way back to the cottage.  This meant mummy could have a little snooze too as I was worn out chasing around after her in there for 2 hours!  We didn't manage to get any decent photos though as she was always on the go!

Anyhoo, back to the card I have to show you today which is a La Pashe sample I made for  the launch on the new Tinsel Tots decoupage last week.  These sheets are great for the young or just the young at heart and are ideal for those who don't like too much cutting out.  The papers I have used are from a Trimcraft paperstack called "Festive Treats".  All I added was some kraft card, a little ribbon, a few pearls and some glamour dust to the image.  The sentiment is also from the sheet.  There are 2 images per sheet of decoupage so they are great value for money.  You can buy a full set from here or you can buy the sheets singly if you have a favourite!

Meet Pickles and Podge!

Hiya everyone,

Don't die of shock but I actually have a sample to share with you that I made for the launch of the new Pickles and Podge decoupage by La Pashe last week.  The image, decoupage bits, backing paper  square and sentiments all come on the 1 A4 sheet.  They are available here and are a very reasonable 59p each or a set of 10 for £4.99!!!  There are not loads of bits and pieces to cut out but there are enough bits to make the uber cute image "pop".   There are loads of different designs for both men and women, young and old.  For this sample, I have used very little extra stuff besides a bit of crochet ribbon, a few pink heart diamantes and a little glitterglue around the edge of the image.

Check them out now!!!

New La Pashe Decoupage sheets

Hiya everyone,

I just thought I'd share my La Pashe samples with you that I made a few weeks ago as they are now on sale.
There are 2 different sets and these cards I made are from the sentimental collection.

Although they are decoupage there aren't loads of things to cut out so they  are ideal if you don't like too much cutting out.
You can either buy them singly direct from La Pashe for 39p per sheet (which includes 2 images per sheet) or you can buy the full set of 10 from Joanna Sheen for £3.99.

Thanks for looking!
