Nitwits - Homemade collection

 Hiya everyone,

Two posts from me in less than a week - woo hoo! Lol

This is my DT card for Nitwits collections made with their new Homemade collection.

I thought that I could also use this as my DT card for my ALBC "The birds and the bees" challenge which you can find here.  There are some amazing papers and pretty elements so I decided to use this fab birdie topper and layered it up on my card.
There are also some cute housey papers and images which would make great new home cards.

It's quite a simple card but I've left it to the last minute as usual as I had some magazine work that I've just finished.   I'm still on hubby's laptop so I've not got access to all my fonts and my photo editing software so the piccies aren't the best I'm afraid.  I'll try and take more piccies tomorrow in the daytime if I get chance and remember!
Thanks for looking!

Nitwits - Daffodil joy 3D card in a box!

Hiya everyone,

Today I have a Mother's Day card that I made which I was going to share with you last week but unfortunately my laptop finally died on me so I lost a lot of stuff.....sob! :(
I'm using the hubby's at the moment until I decide what I am best replacing it with as I honestly don't think it's worth fixing. I've still been gutting my craft room and selling all my excess stuff so it now looks like some of it will be going on a new laptop! :(  Hopefully when I get a bit more straight I'd be doing a bit more crafting as it's taken me ages to sort though it all!

Anyhoo,  I've been seeing a lot of these 3D card in a box cards recently and thought I'd give it  a try!  They're actually quite easy when you know how - there are loads of tutorials out there so just google it!

The fab papers are from the new Nitwits Collections kit called Daffodil Joy which are so pretty.  Lush pinks and lemons in check, spots and florals as well as some fab toppers.

The beauty of these cards is that they fold flat for cheap posting and they're a little bit different aren't they?

Truly, madly, deeply!

Hiya everyone,

Just a quick card I have to share with you today as I finally see to have got rid of my latest cold.  I feel like I've spent the last month being ill with the rest of the family so it's nice to feel a bit more normal.

This card I have made with the new Nitwits collections kit which is called "Truly, madly, deeply" which you can check out here.  I have printed the papers and elements directly onto Papermill white linen card and used their buff kraft coloured card too.
It's a fab set full of gorgeous muted reds, creams and browns and lots of yummy hearts.  It's pretty without being overtly girly if that makes sense?

I hope you like it!

Caroling bunnies!

Hiya everyone,

OMG!!! 2 posts from me in one day! Lol This is my DT for my own A little bit crafty Challenge and the theme this time is "Christmas cheer!"  The "caroling bunnies" image is from one of our sponsors Eureka Stamps and is available here.  I have coloured the image with my promarkers and the papers are from the fabulous Nitwits Christmas kit called "Festive trimmings" collection.

This is another fabulous set of Christmas papers and elements and works really well with the bunny image.  The sentiment is also from Eureka stamps and is available here.
I hope you all have a happy and healthy Christmas and all the best for 2014!!!

Nitwits DT - Tayla's Birthday

 Hiya everyone,

I have been a little absent lately due to various hospital tests so I haven't really felt much like crafting in the last few weeks.  I did make my little girl a birthday card as she was 3 last week.  I used this fab Nitwits set called "From the heart" which comes with lots of fab papers, images and elements.
http://www.nitwitcollections.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=880
As Tayla is a HUGE Peppa Pig fan, I ended up using a Peppa Pig image and layering it up.  This is an 8x8 card as I wanted it to have a big Peppa Pig on it!  I know I shouldn't really have used a copyrighted image off google but as it was only for my own use I thought it should be ok!

This is the Peppa Pig cake we ordered for her as we took her for Tea to Frankie and Benny's which she loved.  She was spoilt rotten by everybody and got loads of pressies - I'm dreading Christmas as I'm not sure where we're going to put everything!

We can now get sorted for Christmas now her birthday has been and gone so I hope to put the tree and decorations up this weekend.   I'm looking forward to watching the Christmas films and wrapping all the presents in a bid to start feeling festive.  I have my works Christmas Do tomorrow which feels way too early!  I'm looking forward to it as I don't often get to go to the casino often!

Nitwits - Holiday Bouquet kit!

Hellllooo!

It's that time again for a fresh challenge here at the ALBC challenge so I have killed 2 birds with one stone here by using our sponsors image from Pink Gem Designs and the new kit from Nitwits for my Nitwits DT card.  The image is called "Winter Hoot" and is available here and the papers are from the "Holiday bouquet" kit which is full of luscious pastel pink and green papers and embellishments which make such a change to the traditional colour combos.  It was so hard to decide which of the papers to use! :)
I hope that you like it!

1st Birthday card - Dinosaur......Grrrrrr! :)

Hiya everyone,

Would you believe my little man turns 1 today?!?  Where has the last 12 months gone?!?  Anyhoo, this is the card I made for him using the great  Nitwits "Fabusaurus" collection.  Anyone with children will know that the image is Mr Dinosaur from Peppa Pig which both him and Tayla love.  We bought Tayla a toy Mr Dinosaur to give him for his birthday so I thought I'd make the card to match.  The images that come with the kit are super cute and it was a shame not to use them though!  Gorgeous boy-ish papers too!
He is a right little cutie but then again, I am very  biased! Lol We are lucky as Tayla and Nathan get on so well together.

I hope he likes his card although it was only a quickie as I have been busy the last few weeks decorating our hall, stairs and landing!

Boo!

Hiya everyone,

Today, I have my "A little bit crafty" DT challenge card to share with you that I made using "Annabel - the witch" digi which is from Crafty Sentiments designs which is one of our fab sponsors for the challenge.  I teamed up this little cutie with some fab Nitwit Collections papers called "Halloween hooligans" which you can check out here.  This kit is great for halloween card, invites and various other party papercrafts that you can think off - the elements are soooo cute!
FQB - Halloween Hooligans
I coloured the image in dead quickly with my promarkers as I was a little short of time but I do like to try and get a mid way reminder card done too if I get chance and like to use the sponsor images too!

Sharing some exciting news!!!

Hiya everyone,

I have some amazing news to share with you all - I was asked a few days ago if I'd like to join the DT at Nitwit Collections so after a nanosecond consideration I said yes, after realising that I could fit in my creations around other things I already have to make. I have recently downsized a lot of my DT work as I have so much magazine work on but it was just too good an opportunity to miss!

My 1st DT card I just made is using their new "Thicket" collection which is lovely and autumnal for the changing season.  It is a lovely warm kit with some gorgeous elements including leaves, trees, an owl and this cute little squirrel.  I printed him out several times and layered him up and added to it so he was holding this little nut as I really wanted to use the sentiment "Nuts about you!"  I have no idea what I'm going to do with it but it was where my creative juices took me! lol
