Ribbons and pearls

Hiya everyone,

I hope you all had a nice Mother's day.  I told hubby not to get me anything yet as I wanted to get something useful so I decided on a little photo tent with lights so that I can take better piccies of my cards so you'll have to let me know if there's an improvement when I go and pick it up in a few days time!  I did get a lovely card and flowers from the in-laws though which was very nice!

Anyhoo,  It's time again for a brand new challenge over at the House Mouse and Friends challenge blog.  The theme this time is

As usual we have some fab sponsors offering up some great prizes

I killed 2 birds with one stone (again, Lol) and make my MIL this Mother's day card.  I decided on this cute bunny in the bath stamp and thought I'd try ivory-on-ivory rather than the usual white-on-white and I must say I kinda liked it for a change.

The image has been coloured in with my promarkers and flexmarkers - isn't he a cutie?  I added a little glamourdust to the bubbles for a little sparkle.  I used one of my many embossing folders to add some texture although I had to do it in 2 panels as I haven't got any of the new 6x6 ones but you can't see the join so it doesn't matter as it's covered up by the vertical panel.  I added satin ribbon and some ruffled organza and velvet ribbon and my MS doily lace punch which is still a firm favourite of mine.  I made a little tag out of my printed sentiment and to finish added some flowers from WOC and some pearls.

I hope you like my card.  Me and Tayla are feeling much better but whatever flu/cold thing we had my hubby has now got so now he feels dreadful.  After us all having a tummy bug the week before we not doing very well are we?

Something exciting is coming soon! Watch this space!!!

Hugs
