Anniversary card

Hiya everyone,
I am hoping that you are liking my new jazzed up blog - I decided that I wanted a change and got myself a custom blog by Angie and I love it!
I have to share with you the in-laws 40th Wedding Anniversary card I made for them a few weeks back as we held a surprise party for them and they had no idea.  It was a really great night!

The image was a Wee stamps freebie called "love birds" and I thought it would be perfect for this card.  I pooped the image into photoscape and added the wording before printing it out several times.  I cut out several images to layer up before colouring the image with my promarkers and flexmarkers.

Apart from the nice ribbon which actually was a leftover piece from my own wedding stationary I didn't really use much else.
I have some exciting news to share with you which I will do later today!
I hope you like my card - it's very simple but effective and could be used for lots of occasions!
Thanks for looking!

  11. See i like the words as well cards. It has to be the right anniversary cards. I think anniversary greeting cards are much more meaning ful than words. For my first wedding anniversary we received lots of cards and my sister sent me one from http://www.cardwale.com/anniversary-cards
