Hellllloooooo!!!!

Hiya everyone,

Yes - I'm still alive Lol. I'm sorry I've been a bad blogger recently but I've spent the last week or so decorating the new house and staying at my mums round the corner so I've haven't had any internet access for all that time apart from when I have a quick peek on my hubbys Iphone which just isn't the same. The good news is we get our internet switched over on the 14th so I will be back in the land of the living shortly!!! I've been going stir crazy without it - Roll on tuesday!!!

Other good news is that my craft room is mostly done although I still haven't put some stuff away as we still need to hire a van to take bigger stuff which won't be for another week or so. The nursery is also finished or it will be once we've stuck the "I love my bear" border on. Our bedroom and the playroom are kinda half done but we're getting there!

I'm gutted that I'm missing out on some fab DT work but I'm not in a position to craft right now but I'm hoping it won't be for too much longer!!! I'm getting bored of decorating and really miss the blog challenges and stuff :o(

I need to get myself straight as I have another workshop at the Windmill craft centre on the 25th June which isn't too far away. I have some fab new gorjuss girls stamps to work with. For anyone interested the class is £15 which includes all the stuff to make 2 cards and you get a free stamp to take home.

Give Barbara a ring to book on (01253)865866 if you're interested!!!

I thought today I would share with you a card I made for my first workshop. I was given a clear stamp and some lovely papers to work with. I decided to make an easel card and a standard card as it was a 2 hour session so I didn't want to make anything too complicated (or too easy). Everybody seemed pleased with them on the day and the timing was just about perfect. I will share the other card I made with you next time. The image is coloured in very basically with my promarkers.

Thanks for looking!!!

June Crafters Companion Blog Challenge card!!!

Hiya Everyone,

I'm not sure where I'll be at the start of this challenge so I'm scheduling this to start so I don't miss posting it as if I'm at the new house we haven't yet got internet access until we switch from one to the other. I hate not having internet access but hopefully it won't be for long.

Anyhoo, this card is made with the fab fairyopolis CD rom including all the pretty pink backing papers. The theme is here comes summer so I made sure I used a summer flower fairy. I decoupaged the fairy and added lots of gamourdust to the wings and it looks so pretty. The flower and heart pins were from wild orchid crafts and the sentiment was from a silhouette fairy stamp sheet from Joanna Sheen.

I'm sure there will be a fabby random prize for the winner of the June blog challenge over at the Crafters Companion Challenge blog so why not go and check it out here!

I actually sent this card to a crafty friend of mine that was having surgery so she had loads of lovely cards off fellow crafters to open in hospital and had loads for when she got back home. I wish Geri a swift recovery *big hugs*
Thanks for looking!!!
