This is a card I have made for my own mum. I really liked the mischevious kitten image and I think she will too. I am still experimenting with new layouts and colours as I don't want my stuff to look too samey. I am going to enter this into as many challenges as I can find. This is only the second easel card I have ever made too.
Image was a free digital image by motivet coloured in with Promarkers. I also used a little gold pearlescent chalk around the image so it didn't look too flat and a little pink pearlescent chalk on the flower (It's probably more noticable in real life) I also used glossy accents on the eyes and nose.
Papers are from Summer Driggs "Angel Mother" free downloadable kit - Inks used to distress the edges
Yellow and chocolate textured card from DCWV
Brown crochet ribbon from quixotic
Yellow ribbon, fabric flowers and diamantes from stash
Sentiment done on computer - font is scriptina which is one of my favourites!

Lovely Card Paula, those Summers Driggs papers are lovely as is your cute pussy cat!! Lovely font too, I will definitely be using that one!! It would be nice to see a link back to the challenges you've chosen to enter your card into tho! That way it 'spreads' the news! and allows others to have ago too AND also lets us DT members see which card you're entering straight away!! (Of course...you may still be doing that as I type!!) This is lovely Paula, a really sweet image and I love easel cards. Spyder is right about linking challenges on your post, I think some challenges won't accept an entry if there is not a link to them on the post. And of course we all like to see if there is a challenge we can enter too!
