La Pashe Christmas Petite decoupage sheets

Hiya everyone,

I have a DT sample to share with you that I made a few weeks ago for the launch of the new Christmas petite decoupage sheets.  The sheets are only A5 in size so the actual images are a much better size if you prefer 6x6 cards as I do find that some decoupage is a tad too big.

This sheet is called "on the fence" and is from the "festive feathers" set which are £1.99 for a set of 7 sheets.  There are 3 different sets to choose from and they are all available here.

I made a matching card and gift box set which I filled with cheapie chocolate mints that I bought in poundland.  The papers used are from the papermania silent night set which I've had for ages which are nice and traditional.  I used a few pearl, some flowers and a gorgeous brass corner that I've been hoarding away!  I also added little glamour dust to the snowy bits of the image but didn't really use too much extra stuff so the emphasis is on the image.

I know that not everybody's a fan of decoupage but I actually like it and often layer up my own stamped images.  These sheets only have a few bits and bobs to cut out so they are ideal if you don't want to do lots of cutting out!

On a different note, I thought I would share my pregnancy progress and have even been brave enough to share a piccy with you.  I am about the same size as I was full term with Tayla so I am feeling very big and uncomfortable - as you can see it's all bump!  You can barely tell I'm expecting from behind.  I have (hopefully) just short of 2 months left to go untill we meet Tayla's new baby brother or sister.  I'm still counting down the days at work which is now just over 2 weeks!

Thanks for looking!

Paula. x

  3. You're beautiful Paula! You should get some professional baby bump pics with Tayla. I have some gorgeous ones of Georgie hugging my tummy when I was pregnant with Zac. It's such a fleeting and precious time! I hope you are getting moments in your day to put your feet up. Always harder with second babes. Big hugs to you for both your beautiful creations xxxxx

  5. Love the card and gift box ... and I love decoupage too! Thats how I got into cardmaking as I used to make decoupage pictures first..
Hope you have a quick and easy two months and then a very quick birth. My second one was so quick that hubby only just got there in time .. the midwife had sent him home saying that nothing was going to happen that night and my son was born at 1.15 a.m. Take care and enjoy xx

  6. Gorgeous card and gift box, but OMG I'm only 5 months with my second and I'm sure my bump is as big as yours already lol. I keep telling myself it's because I'm short and it has no where else to go but pop out in front, as like you I'm all bump and the rest of me is actually smaller than before I got pregnant :-) Hope the last few weeks at work at work pass quickly. Hugs Lisa xxx

  10. Hi Paula,
I adore the card and treats box, what a lovely idea. I am a big fan of decoupage so I really like these.
Well I can't believe how quickly this time has come around. Who can believe you are so close to finishing work and a new baby just around the corner. You look very well Paula, but I can understand you're feeling uncomfortable as you look very heavy in tummy... but boy will it be worth it in the end. I do hope you stay well and strong. Best wishes Linda x
