Summer holidays - House Mouse

Eek!

Did you miss me?!?  It's been a while since I last posted but I've had an infection and now I think I have a trapped nerve in my back - lucky me!  Thankfully, I made this DT card before I was unwell as I haven't made anything for a few weeks!  I'm now 24 weeks pregnant and look a similar size that I was toward the end of my first pregnancy so I feel enormous!

It's time for another challenge over at the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge.  Todays challenge has been chosen by DT member Christine who has picked

Summer Holidays

so we want to see any of your creations that have something to do with summertime fun!

I have used a wooden stampabilities Gruffies stamp called "Hammock hibernation" that I've had a while and had not had chance to use it until now!  I have coloured the image in with my promarkers and flexmarkers.

The papers are from a massive K&Co special pad that I'd also never used but was starting to fall to pieces so I decided I should start using it!  The notepad effect punch is a stampin' up one that I bought off ebay that I lost and found again recently!  I'm still using the last few of the papermania scrabble letters before they're all gone although it's getting more difficult to string words together.

We have Di's Digi Downloads as our fab sponsor who are offering a $10 gift voucher
and there is also a fab set of Joanna Sheen House Mouse stamps up for grabs donated by Christine

I really hope that you join us with all your summery creations!

Tinsel Tots - La Pashe

Hiya everyone,

I'm feeling a little poorly today and ended up going to the walk-in centre after not being able to see my normal GP and it turns out I have a water infection :(   Nowt serious but common during pregnancy.  Luckily I didn't have to wait too long as I was treated as a priority.  I've started taking some antibiotics so I'm hoping to feel a bit more perky soon.

Anyhoo, I just thought I'd share another of the La Pashe DT samples I made a few weeks back for the launch of this uber cute new Tinsel Tots decoupage sheets.  These sheets are available singly or as a full set of 10 sheets here.

The papers I used are from the trimcraft papersatck called Festive Treats.  I added a little glamour dust to the wings for added sparkle - after all it is a Christmas card!.  I think the sentiment circle is a Pink Gem Designs one.

Hiya everyone,

I have some fab news for a lucky someone!  The winner of my House Mouse candy Rachel, also won Nanaseasides candy so she graciously told me to re-draw a new winner to share the candy - how lovely is that?!?

Anyway, it took me ages to find a new winner as lots of people that commented either weren't a follower of my blog, the HM & F challenge blog or hadn't even entered a card into the challenge!  After a lot of searching I finally found a new winner which is

Let's get fruity! House Mouse and Friends

Eek!

It's that time again for another challenge over at the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge.  Before I do though, you may remember that we were celebrating getting over 1000 followers so the DT were giving away some awesome candy.

My personal candy of a set of Xmas House Mouse stamps has been won by

Congratulations Rachel! - If you e-mail me on cheeky_monkey_24@hotmail.com to claim your prize!

Anyhoo,  back to the new challenge which is being hosted by yours truly!  I decided on a theme of

"Let's get fruity!"

I had several fruity HM stamps but decided to use this old Santa Rosa one that I bought in a job lot off ebay a while ago!  I coloured the image with my promarkers and added sakura clear glaze pen to the berries and glossy accents around the mouths of the mice.

The papers I have used are from a Summer Driggs freebie dig kit called "Freedom" which I use a lot.  I distressed the edges a little and added a little antique linen distress ink.  I added the random flower and button  from my stash.  I decided to leave off a sentiment as I'm not too sure what to do with it so I'll add it to my box and stick one on later!

As usual we have some fab sponsors

I hope that you will join us!
